"This afternoon we read 'The Life and Times of the Ant' and I learned about the queen ant. When it's young, but when it gets old, it doesn't." -Carson

"This morning the Northwood band came in to play songs for us.  My favorite song was the Indiana Jones theme." -Kyle

"Today in music we sang an Irish song and talked about our favorite parts in the band.  We also played the Freeze Game." -LJ

"During reading, we got to finish our word search and we also did page 99 where we wrote the word that changes the y to i before adding the ending." -Kaydin

"In math, our learning target was I can use visual models to add and subtract two fractions with the same units including subtracting from one whole." -Sean

"At second recess, Kaydin, Carrie, Matt, and I played four square." -Trey

"In reading, if Mrs. Thompson tapped you 3 times, you got to get 3 M&Ms for being on task." -Abby

Homework due Friday (came out today).  We cut some stuff down (should be crossed out) because it is coming out late.
Weekly reports were due Monday
Conference reminders went home today, they need to be signed and returned!
