Wednesday, September 18th

"In math today we did rules about dividing 1 and 0." -Kylee

"We had one of Mrs. Thompson's old students come into the classroom.  His name is Taylor." -Torri

"Today in science we did more about memory.  The strategy we learned was chaining." -Kaydin

"We got to learn more about the brain. Your amygdala controls your emotions." -Mikaela

"Today in reading we had the word of the day which was citizen.  It means a member of a state or country." -Chase

"Mrs. Thompson taught us tricks like 56=7x8." -Kenan

"Mrs. Thompson (in high school) couldn't remember the capital of Afghanistan, so she sang 'Kabul is the capital of Afghanistan. While doing the chant, she was spinning around in the chair.  It worked because the brain loves movement." -Kaylee, Abby, and Sean

"We had to do brain facts to line up for recess." -Ashlynn
